


Joel has worked in both domestic and international settings where he has consistently and repeatedly spearheaded company wide strategies to increase revenues, streamline costs, improve operational efficiency and build powerful, motivated teams.
Joel is married with two children. His son Jared went through the athletic recruiting process and played Lacrosse at the college level. His daughter Dara is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a graduate degree in Speech Language studies.
Howard is an accomplished athlete - he earned All-County and All-America honors as a high school lacrosse player. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University , undergraduate and graduate school. At Johns Hopkins, he played lacrosse on three straight NCAA Division I national championship teams.
Howard continued his athletic career with the Maryland Lacrosse Club – winners of three straight club championships. In 1996, he joined the staff of UMBC working with the face off men and midfielders. In 2000, he joined his ala mater, JHU, as a volunteer assistant coach and continued his work developing the face off men and midfielders. In 2002, he joined the varsity coaching staff at Landon School where he still works with the face off men and midfielders.
Howard was a contributor to a recent Hopkins book on face offs. Howard lives to see his student athletes succeed and has found ways to help motivate them to give their very best effort. Howard and his wife Fabiana have two children, Josh and Michelle, who are also very active in sports.
